Laboratory Technician

What you will do

• Prepare process and finished-product samples for laboratory testing.
• Perform instrumental and wet chemistry analyses, process-monitoring tests, and product confirmation testing.
• Record, enter, and report results using computerized data systems and LIMS.
• Maintain, calibrate, and verify laboratory equipment, including pH meters, balances, and spectrophotometers.
• Communicate testing results and recommended process adjustments to operations.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, records, sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Previous laboratory or quality control experience and accurate laboratory documentation.
• Experience with standard laboratory equipment, instrument software, computerized data systems, and LIMS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, strong math skills, and troubleshooting ability.
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and safety awareness.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work the third shift, Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with weekends as required.
