Product Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; onsite five days a week

hirify.global develops robotics and software to automate on-site construction, building its hardware and software stack in-house.

What you will do

• Take operational problems from colleagues through prototyping, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
• Design and build tools for managing a growing fleet of robots across multiple construction sites.
• Extend Fenestra, an internal tool for viewing and editing data from different sources.
• Bring operations and manufacturing prototypes into production while improving data models and code quality.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, control engineers, and robot operators on complex product experiences.
• Write typed TypeScript and React code, deploy backend services, and debug memory leaks, crashes, and other root-cause issues.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping full-featured web applications with idiomatic TypeScript.
• Experience building products from zero to one independently or in a small team.
• Strong UI and UX design judgment.
• Ownership of projects from start to finish and comfort working in ambiguous, changing environments.
• Ability to use coding agents responsibly while owning features built with AI.
• Ability to learn new languages and tools quickly, plus basic familiarity with Linux systems and SSH.

Nice to have

• React experience.
• Rust experience.
