TL;DR
Financial Regulatory Reporting & Audit Expert (Fintech): Coordinating internal and external audits, reviewing Luxembourg entities’ financial accounts, and owning CSSF regulatory reporting with an accent on Lux GAAP, regulatory compliance, and control frameworks. Focus on translating CSSF, AML/CFT, and PSF developments into actions, improving reporting scalability, and driving audit remediation.
Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Hybrid work with three days per week in the office: Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day of choice; extra remote time may be requested.

What you will do
- Coordinate the day-to-day relationship with co-outsourced internal audit and external auditors, including planning, information gathering, program reviews, delivery tracking, and remediation follow-up.
- Report audit progress to senior management and oversee completion of audit action plans.
- Perform monthly analytical reviews of the balance sheet and P&L for Luxembourg entities.
- Quality-review annual accounts for Luxembourg Group companies under Lux GAAP.
- Own the regulatory and legal filing schedule with CSSF and other relevant authorities.
- Design and improve controls and governance frameworks for financial and regulatory reporting, while monitoring CSSF circulars, AML/CFT developments, and PSF regulatory changes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of strong financial audit experience in a Big Four firm or similar audit firm.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of Luxembourg CSSF circulars, PSF frameworks, and AML/CFT requirements.
- Experience with Support PSFs, E-Money Institutions, or Investment Firms.
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Full professional fluency in English, written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience with banking-sector audits or reporting.
- Knowledge of CSSF regulatory reporting frameworks such as FINREP and COREP.
- Experience with internal audit or Long-Form Reports.
- Interest in AI-driven control optimization.
