Senior Machine Learning Research Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with 2 office days per week

Salary: 25,000–32,000 PLN gross per month under an employment contract, plus significant equity

What you will do

• Develop and apply deep learning approaches for robotic handling of a wide variety of objects.
• Improve robot dexterity by collaborating with the hardware team on physical innovations.
• Productionize anomaly detection methods, including detecting product disassembly in motion.
• Automate data and model retraining pipelines.
• Evaluate and monitor machine learning models in production, identifying data drift and performance degradation.
• Use data analysis to support company-level strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing machine learning systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of deep learning and computer vision, including expanding and debugging models.
• Experience taking solutions from proof of concept through productionization.
• Advanced Python skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent data analysis and communication skills.
• Fluent English communication required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying deep learning methods to robotics.
• Experience with LLM, VLM, or VLA models.
• Proficiency in SQL.

Hiring process
