Flight Program Manager (Drones)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of Flight and Lab team missions from R&D planning through field readiness and deployment.
• Translate engineering requirements into schedules, success criteria, acceptance criteria, and executable delivery plans.
• Plan and coordinate R&D flight tasks, recurring reviews, stakeholder syncs, escalations, and priority activities.
• Manage the lifecycle of flight equipment, including drone manufacturing, retrofitting, procurement, and ground infrastructure readiness.
• Track operational status, risks, resources, blockers, equipment availability, and mission readiness for leadership.
• Bridge engineering, hardware manufacturing, supply chain, and field teams in a high-uncertainty environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in project, program, delivery, technical program management, or a similar role.
• Experience managing delivery from R&D prototyping to field readiness and mission deployment.
• Strong resource dependency management, including equipment procurement, manufacturing coordination, and supply chain tracking.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and produce clear executive-level reporting on blockers, equipment, risks, and field missions.
• Good written and verbal English and excellent Ukrainian.
• High ownership, operational discipline, risk-management skills, and readiness to handle sensitive defense information under strict operational security practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with drone or UAV operations, robotics, aerospace, or embedded systems development.
• Experience in startups or fast-scaling product companies.
• Experience with field testing, pilot programs, demos, customer trials, or production-readiness processes.
• Experience with military, government, security, or regulated customers.
• Background in engineering, product management, operations, or business analysis.
