Applied AI Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Apply existing AI methods and training recipes to new customer tasks and robotic applications.
• Own model training runs, evaluation, and iteration to improve performance.
• Monitor training-data quality, coverage, and collection progress.
• Develop scalable tooling and workflows for AI model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Translate customer-project learnings into requirements and improvements for AI capabilities and product workflows.
• Collaborate with AI, robotics, product, and commercial teams to take applications from concept to reliable operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong software engineering skills and proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, including model training, evaluation, data pipelines, or deployment.
• Experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Ability to apply existing AI methods and codebases to new problems and build practical tooling around models.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI models on real robotic hardware.
• Experience with industrial customers in automotive, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Experience operating in production environments.
