Software Engineer - AI Infrastructure (Robotics)

What you will do

• Scale and improve robotics data processing pipelines from ingestion through quality checks to training-ready datasets.
• Build and maintain data quality tooling for anomaly detection, validation, and statistical profiling.
• Develop internal visualization tools that help researchers inspect, understand, and qualify data.
• Write well-tested, documented, modular, and maintainable software.

Requirements

• Strong Python fundamentals, including clean code, data structures, and performance tradeoffs.
• Strong software engineering foundations with Git and GitHub, modular design, maintainability, and refactoring.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ELT/ETL pipeline design, storage formats, and data quality practices.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and collaborate across teams.
• Proactive approach and genuine interest in robots that learn from real-world data.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics or sensor data such as video, point clouds, or physical-system time series.
• Experience with FastAPI or React.
• Knowledge of ML infrastructure fundamentals, including PyTorch, data loading, training loops, profiling, and inference.
