Staff / Principal Engineer, Product Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, US; on-site

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Set secure-by-design architecture standards across the engineering organization.
• Build and influence security product and platform roadmaps based on security findings.
• Identify ways to circumvent geolocation and compliance checks throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop automated penetration tests for mobile and web SDKs, desktop applications, and server-side APIs.
• Collaborate with product and platform engineers to secure products before customer release.
• Integrate practical security standards into the SDLC, including AI security best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with automation, application architecture, and application development.
• Experience performing mobile penetration testing.
• Experience working in regulated industries with motivated threat actors.
• Ability to contribute as both an engineer and a security defender.
• Ability to work on-site in New York, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience as a technical founder.
• Experience with compliance testing for regulated gaming applications.
