Senior Director, Market Intelligence

What you will do

• Lead and coach the Data Strategy team responsible for competitive intelligence datasets across APAC and the Middle East.
• Own the competitor tracker as the single source of truth, covering competitor footprints, expansion patterns, capacity utilisation, and market positioning.
• Maintain market datasets covering competitor builds, land timelines, power procurement, infrastructure, regulation, sustainability, and environmental risks.
• Translate qualitative and quantitative data into structured datasets, dashboards, visual summaries, and decision-ready insights for executive stakeholders.
• Implement AI-powered workflows using tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise to automate ingestion, validation, retrieval, and repetitive data tasks.
• Partner with commercial, energy, land acquisition, development, and government affairs teams to support market prioritisation, capacity planning, and risk reduction.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Geography, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or data centre infrastructure delivery across APAC and the Middle East.
• Proven ability in data validation, data management, and analysis, with strong attention to data quality.
• High comfort with AI and productivity tools, including Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI or similar visualisation tools for building clear, executive-ready dashboards.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to turn complex or unstructured data into clear narratives.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS platforms, including shapefiles, KMZs, and spatial data analysis.
• Experience with SQL databases or data warehousing.
• Background in data centre market research, competitive intelligence, consulting, or business development.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar advanced analytics tools.
