What you will do

• Execute new project financing transactions, including bank materials, finance documents, financial model analysis, due diligence, advisory coordination, KYC, syndication, conditions precedent, and settlement.
• Manage existing loan facilities after closing, including amendments, waivers, notices, legal coordination, and bank negotiations.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and offshore banks and debt investors.
• Support cash management, risk management, and covenant management activities in Japan.
• Work with the Japan leadership, Tokyo colleagues, global Treasury, financial modelers, and external advisors.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of corporate treasury or corporate banking experience with exposure to project finance.
• Strong understanding of loan documentation and financing processes from a lender or borrower perspective.
• Fluency in Japanese and English is required for independent work in a bilingual international environment.
• Ability to work autonomously at manager level and communicate effectively with stakeholders, banks, and external advisors.
• Knowledge of loan syndication markets; property finance knowledge is a plus.
• Curiosity about the data centre business.
