Partner Delivery Manager (Scientific R&D)

Location: New York, San Francisco, Munich, or London

Salary: New York $90K–$120K; Munich €80K–€95K; London £70K–£85K, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Oversee quality assurance for partner-delivered implementations and approve configurations before go-live.
• Review scientific data structures, implementation milestones, and portfolio health while resolving delivery risks.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex scientific environments, edge-case configurations, and ambiguous customer requirements.
• Lead or co-lead strategic implementations by mapping formulations, sample relationships, test methods, and legacy data onto the platform.
• Build the partner enablement program, including onboarding curricula, certification criteria, playbooks, training materials, workshops, and shadowing programs.
• Surface implementation insights to partnerships, product, and engineering teams and contribute to product roadmaps and internal playbooks.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, biology, or a closely related field.
• 2–3 years of post-degree experience in implementation, technical consulting, or scientific data management.
• Experience designing structured solutions for complex, real-world data environments and using scientific or technical software such as ELNs, LIMS, instrument software, or data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and develop partner capability.
• Experience managing multiple partner relationships and implementation workstreams with a high quality standard.
• Ability to build programs from scratch, work autonomously, and navigate ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Partner-facing, channel, or ecosystem experience, or experience building technical training and enablement programs.
• Hands-on laboratory experience running experiments.
• Familiarity with structured spreadsheets, databases, ELNs, or LIMS.
• Exposure to multiple scientific domains such as organic chemistry, polymer science, biotechnology, or formulation.
