What you will do
- Lead business development and sales across European commercial and institutional segments.
- Develop strategies to influence RFPs, customer priorities, and market visibility through stakeholder engagement and thought leadership.
- Coordinate proposal development and deal execution across technical and commercial teams.
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities with agencies, government bodies, and private-sector partners.
- Build and manage a dynamic sales pipeline using market intelligence to shape actionable strategies.
- Lead contract negotiations, deal structuring, strategic communications, and executive-level customer engagement.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in business development or customer-facing roles in the space, aerospace, or defense industries.
- Proven success securing high-value deals with European institutional stakeholders such as CNES, ESA, EC, DLR, or UKSA.
- Strong understanding of European institutional procurement processes and RFP cycles.
- Experience leading proposals and structuring deals with technical and commercial inputs.
- Technical fluency in space systems, satellite operations, or related technologies.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Established networks with European institutional stakeholders or emerging space companies.
- Experience in fast-growing, entrepreneurial NewSpace companies or venture-backed startups.
- Background in satellite systems, mission operations, or space software development.
- Experience scaling business development operations or building repeatable sales processes.
