Senior Back-End Engineer (.NET)

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia; hybrid work with time split between home and the company's offices

Flutter CEE is a Central and Eastern European technology and product hub within hirify.global, building scalable platforms for sports betting and iGaming brands.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrations, including real-time features such as WebSockets.
• Integrate backend systems with SQL and NoSQL databases, message brokers, third-party services, and external APIs.
• Improve backend architecture, scalability, performance, security, and service reliability.
• Write clean, reusable, testable code; create unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders while maintaining technical documentation and API guidelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years of backend development with .NET.
• Strong experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of backend architecture, scalability, microservices, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and API security.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as xUnit or NUnit.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative Git workflows; familiarity with Agile processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and monorepo setups.
