Security Intelligence Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Conduct in-depth threat analysis to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and threat actor activity across the GCash ecosystem.
• Manage daily security intelligence operations, including the collection, correlation, and dissemination of intelligence.
• Develop threat intelligence strategies, playbooks, and intelligence requirements in collaboration with the Head of Security Intelligence.
• Produce intelligence reports, threat briefings, and alerts for technical and executive audiences.
• Manage relationships with threat intelligence vendors, communities, and law enforcement partners.
• Support threat hunting, red/blue team exercises, and incident investigations with attribution, context, and threat actor profiling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including 2 or more years in threat intelligence or a similar function.
• Strong knowledge of the threat intelligence lifecycle, threat actor behavior, and intelligence analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with ThreatConnect, MISP, Recorded Future, or similar platforms.
• Experience collaborating with SOC, incident response, and risk teams in an enterprise environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for intelligence reports and briefings.

Nice to have

• GCTI, CISSP, or similar industry certification.
• Experience with dark web monitoring and OSINT techniques.
• Python scripting for automation and enrichment tasks.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or similar regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with financial services or fintech threat landscapes.
