Security Analyst - MDR (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week in the Las Colinas office in Irving, Texas

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze endpoint, email, server, and network security events in TrendAI Vision One.
• Investigate real-time alerts, prioritize incidents, and distinguish genuine threats from false positives.
• Contain, eradicate, and mitigate emerging threats while communicating actions clearly to customers.
• Review security events and data sources to develop and refine detection criteria and improve threat prevention.
• Write detailed customer notifications with investigation findings, containment actions, and recommendations.
• Conduct threat hunting and generate intelligence from incident patterns and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of full-time security experience, preferably in a SOC or security monitoring environment.
• Experience with log analysis, event correlation, host and network log sources, and SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, traffic analysis, and Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience investigating and prioritizing real-time alerts; familiarity with Vision One or equivalent threat intelligence/XDR platforms.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
