Systems Quality Engineer (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Investigate live and post-run operational issues across the autonomous vehicle stack, including failure analysis and root cause analysis.
• Identify abnormal system behavior, validate fixes, and drive issues through resolution with engineering teams.
• Analyze performance, productivity, safety-critical, and near-miss events and recommend mitigations.
• Develop triage documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, release notes, and issue knowledge bases.
• Build and maintain automation and tooling for triage, analysis, and reporting workflows.
• Review operational metrics across vehicles, sites, and software versions to identify recurring stability and performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or the automotive industry.
• Hands-on experience with system-level debugging and analysis.
• Experience with Linux and Python; Bash or Shell experience is a plus.
• Experience with issue tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• Strong understanding of software systems and data flows, analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and technical communication.
