What you will do
- Design test scenarios, test cases, and execution plans for manual, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across web and enterprise platforms.
- Inspect APIs, backend services, data exchange, and integrations using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or equivalent tools.
- Manage test artifacts, requirement traceability, defect tracking, and re-verification using Watermelon, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers during Agile/Scrum ceremonies to clarify requirements, troubleshoot root causes, and validate fixes.
- Execute baseline performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks before production releases.
- Govern software quality against industry standards, data protection rules, security requirements, and client-specific regulations.
Requirements
- Commercial experience as a QC/Test Engineer or Software Quality Assurance Engineer in IT or software development projects.
- Strong practical knowledge of manual, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing across the Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience with API inspection and testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Experience with test management and execution systems such as Watermelon, Jira, or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, user story analysis, and cross-team defect triage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and technical communication skills.
Nice to have
- Testing experience in banking, finance, government, or other highly regulated domains.
- Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6 for performance and load testing.
- Familiarity with test automation concepts or basic scripting.
