Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (SatDevOps)

Location: Hybrid in Toulouse, Occitanie, France; relocation assistance to Toulouse may be available.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure across hybrid-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with developers and satellite operators to build a SatDevOps culture for spacecraft and ground-segment operations.
• Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment workflows.
• Build tools, workflows, and environments that improve developer experience.
• Own observability systems covering metrics, tracing, and logs, with a Grafana-centric ecosystem.
• Investigate reliability issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes while operating software-defined networking solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience with public-cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, operations, and resource optimization.
• Experience designing and building scalable, highly available systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of software-defined networking and observability stacks such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Go, Python, Rust, C/C++, or Java.
• Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, independent problem-solving, and cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps frameworks such as ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Interest or experience in FinOps and cost-optimized architectures.
• Experience with orchestration in resource-constrained space environments.
• Knowledge of systems engineering tools, SDLC governance, security practices, vulnerability scanning, and threat detection.
