What you will do
- Own and execute the clinical research strategy across multiple countries and customers.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead clinical studies with healthcare providers, product teams, and external partners.
- Design study protocols that balance scientific rigor, speed, and operational feasibility.
- Lead data analysis, interpretation, publication, and dissemination of research results.
- Support regulatory, commercial, and product teams with clinical evidence and insights.
- Represent Tandem in scientific and clinical forums and improve research operations for greater scalability and impact.
Requirements
- Medical background, such as an MD or equivalent.
- PhD in clinical research, epidemiology, biostatistics, computer science/ML, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong publication record in high-quality journals, ideally in healthcare AI or digital health.
- Demonstrated experience leading clinical research projects end-to-end and working with real-world clinical data and healthcare systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across clinical, product, and commercial teams.
- CV submitted in English; the role requires primarily working from the Stockholm office.
Nice to have
- Experience with European healthcare systems across multiple countries.
- Background in health tech, AI, or a high-growth scale-up.
- Experience running multi-site or multi-country clinical studies.
- External network in clinical research or healthcare AI.
- Deep technical AI understanding, including programming expertise.
