TL;DR
Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Specialist (FP&A): Building and improving global FP&A processes, forecasting and reporting frameworks with an accent on financial modeling, business partnering, and data-driven performance analysis. Focus on coordinating budgeting cycles, challenging business assumptions, analyzing profitability, and implementing AI-driven finance tools.
Location: Zagreb, Croatia; flexible hybrid work model with in-person collaboration, remote work, and flexible working hours.

What you will do
- Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to support global FP&A activities.
- Design, optimize, and improve FP&A processes, tools, reporting frameworks, and scalable finance operations.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles by consolidating data, analyzing inputs, and challenging business assumptions.
- Perform variance, profitability, and business performance analysis using financial and operational metrics.
- Identify and support profitability, process improvement, and cross-functional finance initiatives.
- Contribute to month-end activities and develop AI tools and solutions for FP&A processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in an international, fast-growing environment.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in business partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and preparing financial models and performance analyses.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial software.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, is required. Strong communication, presentation, organization, and prioritization skills are also expected.
Nice to have
- ACCA, MBA, or CFA qualification.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, or planning tools.
- Experience building FP&A processes from scratch or supporting process transformation.
- Exposure to AI tools or automation initiatives in finance.
