Network Companies is hiring through MGR Accounting Recruiters for a client requiring U.S. tax leadership.
What you will do
- Review federal and multi-state income and franchise tax returns and supporting workpapers.
- Review quarterly estimated tax payments and resolve tax notices.
- Prepare calculations for interim and annual income tax provisions.
- Provide tax information to internal departments and oversee income tax control activities.
- Partner with stakeholders on tax planning initiatives and process improvements.
- Supervise staff-level tax accountants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- CPA certification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with consolidated U.S. federal returns, multi-state returns, and income tax accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree focused on U.S. taxation.
