Generalist Research Engineer (AI)

Salary: SGD 90K–SGD 300K plus equity

What you will do

• Work across the search and retrieval stack, including crawling, parsing, ML performance, and retrieval algorithms.
• Improve the end quality of search endpoints for customers.
• Design and ship parsers that improve retrieval performance.
• Improve the throughput and latency of ML models.
• Optimize web crawler performance and increase crawling speed.

Requirements

• High attention to detail and the ability to understand both customer needs and system implementation details.
• Strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to investigate complex problems deeply.
• Interest in working across search and retrieval systems.
• Comfort working across different systems and shipping quickly.
• Motivation to improve the quality of information search.
