Senior Engineer, Development Engineering (Firmware)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain firmware for eHDD products.
• Implement data structures, software algorithms, data paths, and hardware-core drivers using C++ and Python.
• Develop storage products using SAS, SATA, and PCIe interfaces.
• Collaborate on solutions spanning hardware, software, servers, RAID, Windows, and Linux.
• Investigate technical problems from initial statement through conclusion and create firmware design documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of C/C++, object-oriented programming, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
• Ability to learn new firmware, hardware, systems, tools, and methodologies quickly.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and task-management skills.
• Good command of English communication and ability to work with a worldwide team.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with ARM or ARC microcontroller architecture, embedded systems, and RTOS.
• Knowledge of SAS, SATA, or PCIe interfaces.
• Experience with bus analyzers, emulators, and firmware debugging tools.
• Data analytics skills.
