Associate Data Analyst - Builders Program - (Emirati National)

What you will do

• Build and maintain clean, reusable fact and dimension datasets for reporting and self-serve analytics.
• Define, document, and align business metrics such as active users, approval rate, and default rate.
• Answer ad-hoc business questions with clear, explainable analysis and validated methodologies.
• Create AI-ready datasets, semantic assets, metric definitions, glossaries, and example queries.
• Write tests, checks, and monitoring for key datasets and troubleshoot data reliability issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, AI and platform teams, product experts, and business stakeholders on schemas, event tracking, and pipeline improvements.

Requirements

• Fresh graduate or less than one year of relevant experience; internships, projects, and part-time roles count.
• Solid SQL fundamentals, including joins, aggregations, and basic window functions.
• Basic proficiency in one programming language for analysis, preferably Python, including data manipulation and basic statistics.
• Strong analytical thinking, including problem definition, hypothesis formation, data validation, and clear communication of results.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, reliable outputs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data modeling, star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and metrics definition.
• Familiarity with dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience creating AI-ready data assets, using AI assistants responsibly, or applying version control and basic software engineering practices.
• Understanding of event tracking, funnels, cohorts, retention, and responsible data handling.
