FF+E Design Lead

What you will do

• Own the global FF+E and accessories strategy across hirify.global locations.
• Develop furniture, fixtures, and accessories standards for the Location Design Playbook, including specifications, product lists, and sourcing guidance.
• Build a scalable procurement and vendor strategy with preferred global and regional suppliers.
• Provide concept-level FF+E guidance on at least two active regional projects.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design and external vendors on bespoke furniture and accessory products.
• Partner with architecture, hardware, operations, brand, and procurement teams to maintain a consistent member experience.

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in FF+E design, specification, and procurement, supported by a portfolio demonstrating strong material quality, detail, and cohesive design language.
• Experience developing FF+E standards, product libraries, or specification playbooks for a global, multi-site, or scaling organization.
• Strong knowledge of bespoke furniture and product manufacturing, including materials, finishes, construction, durability, and sustainability.
• Experience managing vendors and procurement across multiple markets, including sourcing, sampling, cost negotiation, and quality control.
• Understanding of ergonomics, accessibility, product safety, and commercial retail compliance standards, with strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience designing branded retail, hospitality, or experiential environments at scale.
• Experience developing custom-manufactured furniture and accessories from concept through production.
• Knowledge of sustainability and circular design principles, including lifecycle analysis, material health, and responsible sourcing.
