TL;DR
Senior Design System Designer (AI): Building and scaling enterprise-grade design systems for cloud insurance software with an accent on design tokens, Figma component libraries, and AI-supported workflows. Focus on evolving token architecture, aligning Figma assets with code repositories, and enabling consistent accessible experiences across application teams.
Location: Any of ’s supported European countries; preference for Dublin or Krakow with office attendance 2 days per week

What you will do
- Create and maintain structured, usable design component libraries in Figma.
- Write component and token usage specifications, pattern rationale, and design best practices.
- Own and evolve design token architecture, naming taxonomy, and the full token lifecycle in Figma Variables and Tokens Studio.
- Partner with design system developers to align components and tokens with code repositories such as Storybook.
- Explore and implement AI-driven tools and workflows to improve design and development efficiency.
- Advocate for design system adoption while communicating design rationale with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience creating and evolving a design system, component library, or UI framework.
- Proficiency with Token Studio and Figma Variables.
- Experience with GitHub, pull requests, repository-based token management, and the Figma MCP server.
- Strong systems thinking, modular design knowledge, and understanding of how tokens and components are consumed in code.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
