TL;DR
Deployment Engineer (Network Infrastructure): Maintaining and deploying server and network hardware across data centers in support of a resilient, high-performance trading environment with an accent on hardware troubleshooting, network circuits, and production infrastructure. Focus on coordinating remote hands, executing deployments and maintenance, automating operational checks, and resolving connectivity failures in a 24-hour trading environment.

What you will do
- Coordinate remote hands and data center technicians for hardware installations, repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot server, network, NIC, SFP, cabling, and other data center hardware.
- Implement network cross-connects, maintain operational circuits, and troubleshoot link issues with carriers.
- Install operating systems and perform basic server configurations using detailed documentation.
- Track physical assets and inventory across global data center locations.
- Script routine checks and operational reports while troubleshooting live production failures with Trading Operations and senior engineers.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of relevant hands-on technical experience preferred.
- Basic network administration skills, including access to switches, routers, and firewalls for routine commands.
- Fundamental Linux/UNIX command-line and system administration knowledge.
- Practical experience troubleshooting servers, NICs, SFPs, and different types of cabling.
- Ability to follow complex technical instructions with close attention to detail and communicate clearly across time zones.
- Availability to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to support a global 24-hour trading cycle.
Nice to have
- Bash or Python scripting for basic task automation.
- Experience in trading infrastructure teams or technology companies with significant data center footprints.
