Junior Quant Developer (Python)

What you will do

• Implement trading strategies and software for quantitative research projects.
• Develop tools that apply advanced statistical methods to identify trading opportunities.
• Monitor the impact of trading strategies over time.
• Run and analyze backtesting simulations across large volumes of proprietary data.
• Work side-by-side with Quant Researchers and Traders on cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Up to 4 years of relevant software or quant development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, C++, or KDB+/q.
• Strong interest in or knowledge of finance and global markets.
• Experience using AI tools and systems collaboratively in software development, data analysis, or research workflows.
• Experience with Git and Linux, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or higher in a highly quantitative discipline.
• Deep knowledge of financial markets in at least one domain or asset class.
• Experience with database management systems and SQL.
• Experience working with financial data in a similar role.
