Automation Solutions Engineer (Celonis)

Location: Hybrid work model; office-first with flexibility to balance office and remote work.

What you will do

• Identify source-system tables and fields and build ETL pipelines and Celonis data models for customer service processes.
• Design, build, and operate production automations using Celonis Action Flows and Process Orchestrator.
• Integrate automations with Flix backend systems through APIs and with chatbot and voicebot customer contact channels.
• Build scalable automations with error handling, monitoring, auditability, and safe change rollouts.
• Take over, reverse-engineer, document, harden, and extend automation logic created by an external implementation partner.
• Collaborate with business users, data analytics, and IT engineering while documenting technical requirements, ETL, and automation work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building production automations on process orchestration or automation platforms.
• Experience owning and shipping solutions handling transactions at scale, including 1M+ transactions annually.
• Working SQL and data modelling skills, including case ID identification, join-grain control, and source validation.
• Understanding of CRM, ticketing, order management, and ERP systems and their data structures and process flows.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, authentication, webhooks, rate limits, JSON, and XML.
• Clear written documentation and communication in English, with the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Celonis experience with Data Integration, PQL, Knowledge Models, Action Flows, or Process Orchestrator.
• Experience with n8n, Camunda, UiPath, Power Automate, or Make.
• Python or similar scripting experience.
• Experience connecting automated workflows to chatbot or voicebot platforms.
