Chief Information Officer (FinTech)

What you will do

• Define and execute the enterprise-wide technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead Infrastructure, Cloud, Enterprise Applications, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, Service Management, and End User Services.
• Build and develop high-performing technology organisations with a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive digital transformation, cloud adoption, automation, technology modernisation, and operational excellence.
• Ensure the availability, scalability, resilience, and security of mission-critical technology platforms.
• Oversee technology governance, budgeting, vendor management, risk management, regulatory compliance, and executive stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional Information Technology experience, including at least 5 years in an executive leadership role such as CIO, IT Director, or VP of IT.
• Experience leading large-scale technology organisations with at least 100 IT professionals across multiple functions.
• Mandatory experience in FinTech, digital payments, banking technology, eCommerce, online marketplaces, or other high-volume digital transaction environments.
• Experience with highly available customer-facing ecosystems serving millions of users and business-critical platforms.
• Expertise across enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, IT operations, enterprise applications, and modern technology platforms.
• Fluent English is required; international travel will be moderate as required by the role.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing, scaling, or leading Technology Delivery Centres, Shared Service Centres, or Global Capability Centres.
• Additional European languages.
