Associate, Client Success (Financial Services)

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $75,000–$105,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Conduct loan underwriting, credit analysis, transaction evaluation, and prepare materials for credit approval.
• Assess borrower, collateral, operational, and lending risks using market data, comparable transactions, auction results, and industry expertise.
• Manage deals from initial diligence through funding, repayment, and timely renewals.
• Monitor the active loan portfolio for default risk and compliance with underwriting policies and financing facilities.
• Manage collateral receipt, releases, viewings, restoration, insurance coverage, and location reporting.
• Present underwriting recommendations and portfolio updates while collaborating with clients, auction-house departments, lending, risk, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a client-facing financial services or auction-house role.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including the ability to evaluate complex financial information and make credit recommendations.
• Experience assessing risks, managing priorities, and maintaining accuracy across multiple concurrent transactions.
• Strong client service, communication, presentation development, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work in New York, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in the art market, automotive industry, auction house, gallery, museum, art advisory, automotive valuation, underwriting, or lending.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM solution.
• Fluency in a second language.
