Production Material Handler (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; onsite production and warehouse role

Salary: $19.00–$23.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Inspect and safely operate forklifts, pallet dispensers, and other material-handling equipment.
• Stage packaging materials and pull products for production runs and customer orders.
• Load and unload pallet and transfer trailers while checking orders and completing required paperwork.
• Record batch and lot codes, quantities, and pallet movements to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Apply FEFO product rotation and support inbound raw-material deliveries and inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safe-work, ergonomics, GMP, and food-safety procedures.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Good command of written and verbal English required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and record alphanumeric codes accurately.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with employees, team members, and truck drivers.
