Senior QA Specialist (Material Management)

Location: Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Provide independent QA oversight for raw materials, packaging materials, single-use systems, filters, and other GMP-relevant materials used in manufacturing.
• Act as QA Representative for assigned projects and support material qualification activities.
• Review and approve risk assessments, specifications, product statements, and QC documentation.
• Assess material-related quality records, investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change requests.
• Collaborate with Operations, MSAT, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Control.
• Support health authority inspections, customer audits, and internal audits as a material-management subject matter expert.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Proven QA, QC, or project management experience in a regulated GxP industry.
• Solid knowledge of quality systems, including deviations, change controls, CAPAs, and investigations.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and quality-relevant master data.
• German language skills.
