TL;DR

Application Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Leading customer implementations and adoption of application security solutions across the software development lifecycle with an accent on SAST, SCA, DAST, DevOps integration, and secure development practices. Focus on designing implementation plans, integrating security tools into CI/CD workflows, troubleshooting enterprise environments, and enabling customers across China and Asia.

Location: Singapore; travel up to approximately 40% depending on customer and business needs.

What you will do

Design customer-ready implementation approaches for application security, software quality, and compliance requirements.
Plan, configure, validate, and complete hirify.global solution implementations while coordinating customers and internal stakeholders.
Integrate application security solutions into SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows.
Advise customers on vulnerability management, secure development, testing workflows, and operational efficiency.
Guide customers from initial deployment through active adoption and help them realize value from the solutions.
Partner with account teams to provide delivery insight and identify opportunities for additional customer value.

Requirements

Understanding of application security concepts, software vulnerabilities, or secure development practices.
Hands-on software development experience with Java, C/C++, C#, or a comparable language.
Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, or similar automation tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern platform architectures.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, customer interaction, and cross-functional delivery skills.
Fluent English and Mandarin are mandatory. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Nice to have

Technical consulting, professional services, customer success engineering, or implementation delivery experience.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP.
Experience with SaaS and on-premises deployments, security testing, network protocols, vulnerability management, or software supply chain security.
Cantonese language capability and a master's degree or equivalent experience.
