What you will do
- Repair, adjust, maintain, install, and replace fire doors.
- Replace hinges, closers, handles, locks, seals, and other fire door components.
- Fit intumescent strips and smoke seals.
- Complete remedial works identified during fire door inspections.
- Work in occupied and void properties while following fire door compliance and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Relevant experience repairing fire doors and working in social housing.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant NVQ qualification.
- Own van and tools, including 110V or battery-operated tools.
- Asbestos Awareness qualification.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow fire safety procedures.
