Senior UI/UX Designer (Industrial Digital Products)

Location: Remote, based in Almaty, Kazakhstan

What you will do

• Design user-centered experiences for complex web and mobile applications in industrial and enterprise environments.
• Translate user needs, business goals, and functional requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Define and evolve design systems, UI standards, reusable assets, icons, illustrations, and SVG graphics.
• Conduct UX reviews and usability assessments, supporting testing, validation, and quality assurance from a UX perspective.
• Collaborate with product owners, domain experts, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation and effective decision-making.
• Document design work, share knowledge, and promote user-centered design practices throughout development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience for digital products.
• Strong portfolio covering the full design process from concept to delivery.
• Proficiency with Figma, Axure, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design and prototyping tools.
• Strong knowledge of interaction design, usability, accessibility, visual design, and modern UX methodologies.
• Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business requirements while presenting design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English; employment is according to the labor law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Nice to have

• Experience designing complex enterprise or industrial software solutions.
• Expertise in data visualization, dashboards, and information-dense interfaces.
• Experience with large-scale design systems, component libraries, user research, usability testing, and analytics-driven improvements.
• Familiarity with responsive, mobile-first, and Agile development practices.
