Healthcare Operations Director (Medical Waste)

Salary: $82,000–$230,347 annually, plus a potential 30% bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Lead and develop a growing 70+ person healthcare operations team across the Western region.
• Own regional profitability, growth, service delivery, and operational performance.
• Develop and manage regional budgets, business plans, targets, and action plans.
• Monitor branch KPIs, safety metrics, incidents, revenue, new business prospects, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare reports for senior management, analyze trends, and recommend actions to address risks and opportunities.
• Coach Branch Managers and partner with Health and Safety, Transportation Compliance, Human Resources, Training, and Finance.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of field management experience.
• At least three years of hazardous waste and DOT experience.
• Experience creating, managing, and analyzing budgets and business plans.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, mentoring, collaboration, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination as required.
