Senior Software Engineer (Digital Identity): Building and scaling a privacy-first identity verification platform with an accent on API architecture, distributed systems, integrations, and production reliability. What you will do
- Build and scale the core identity verification platform, including API architecture, verification lifecycle, asynchronous processing, event delivery, and production reliability.
- Integrate and operate external identity providers through adapters, normalization layers, health monitoring, and provider onboarding tools.
- Build developer tooling, end-to-end test infrastructure, reference environments, and go-live systems.
- Own quality and operations through testing, observability, production monitoring, failure investigation, and root-cause fixes.
- Lead technical projects, define approaches, make trade-offs, and drive execution through production.
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in hiring, and collaborate directly with Product, partners, and customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience designing, operating, and owning meaningful production systems.
- Strong backend fundamentals in APIs, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and production reliability.
- Professional experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Full-stack capability across backend, infrastructure, tooling, and frontend when required.
- Experience leading projects and technical decisions, with a strong ownership mindset and mentoring ability.
- Based in Seoul and comfortable working in a global, multicultural, English-first environment.
