iOS Developer

Location: Wellington, New Zealand. Must be living in New Zealand with valid working rights; hybrid working is embedded in the role.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable iOS applications using Swift and, where required, Objective-C.
• Build mobile features and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services for customer-focused financial applications.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, backend engineering, and QA teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and improve development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across production and test environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security, compliance, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an iOS Developer or Mobile Engineer.
• Strong Swift skills and experience with iOS frameworks including UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Combine.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, Git, CI/CD tools, Agile delivery, and automated unit/UI testing with XCTest.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, particularly in financial or regulated environments.
• Living in New Zealand with valid working rights is mandatory.
