Firmware Engineer (Cryptography)

What you will do

• Develop, design, and test firmware features for hirify.global products.
• Implement established cryptographic protocols and contribute to the creation of future protocols.
• Write libraries and utilities that expose firmware capabilities to higher-level applications.
• Develop integrations with existing systems so they can use hirify.global security products.
• Work on core products, tools, and libraries in collaboration with the firmware team.

Requirements

• Experience with cryptography and security, including smart cards, PKCS#11, encryption schemes, and cryptographic libraries.
• At least 3 years of experience writing software for resource-constrained microprocessors.
• High proficiency in C.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, preferably from the command line, and Python or a similar high-level language.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, collaborate, and incorporate feedback.
• Experience integrating or building open-source software and participating in the open-source community.
