TL;DR
Senior UX Designer (Cybersecurity): Owns end-to-end design for feature areas of an identity security platform, from user needs analysis and flows to high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and reusable components, with an accent on simplifying complex enterprise security workflows. Focus on validating designs with user research and data, evolving scalable design systems, presenting decisions to senior stakeholders, and mentoring junior designers.
Location: Hybrid in Mexico City, with in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Reforma office

What you will do
- Own feature-area design end to end, including user needs analysis, flows, high-fidelity interfaces, prototypes, reusable components, and shipped products.
- Translate identity governance, privileged access, zero trust, and other technical workflows into intuitive experiences for IT administrators and security practitioners.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, technical writers, and UX researchers, iterating from user feedback, research, data, and team input.
- Advocate for users in product decisions and present design rationale to senior stakeholders.
- Help evolve the Design System and review peers’ work for consistency, scalability, and quality.
- Begin mentoring junior designers and contribute to design critiques.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer for web or SaaS products.
- Experience owning features from concept through delivery, preferably in B2B, cybersecurity, or complex enterprise systems.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and the design process.
- High proficiency with Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
- Strong product mindset, ownership, attention to detail, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive projects with limited direction and develop leadership and project management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience or interest in cybersecurity, identity governance, or privileged access management.
- Experience partnering with a UX researcher or conducting lightweight research and validation.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in product development.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience mentoring junior designers and participating in design critiques.
