Sr. Biostatistician II (Biotech)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid work is available remotely up to two days per week, or the role can be performed on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $132,200–$198,200 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute statistical infrastructure for clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world data investigations.
• Author statistical analysis plans, including table, figure, and listing shells, and present them to the Statistical Review Forum.
• Plan and conduct cross-functional data reviews, key results memos, and data dissemination plans.
• Develop statistical sections of study protocols, including sample size estimates and randomization plans.
• Collaborate with statistical programming and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tables, figures, and listings on schedule.
• Contribute to clinical study reports, publications, posters, departmental working groups, and study-level design and analysis discussions.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• Typically three years of experience with a master’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Competence with SAS and R statistical software.
• Demonstrated understanding of statistical methods used in drug development.
• Critical thinking, logical problem-solving, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-statisticians and work in a team environment.
