Graphic Designer III - Part Time

Location: Remote from the United States; home office required, with a weekly Teams meeting and phone availability during standard business hours. Rockville, Maryland is listed as the job location.

What you will do

• Develop interactive forms with enhanced functionality and convert forms and documents.
• Modernize legacy forms for accessibility and Section 508 compliance.
• Convert Adobe LiveCycle forms to Acrobat AcroForm.
• Lead design projects from concept through completion and create proposals and strategies for clients.
• Create high-quality layouts and visual materials for print and digital channels, including websites, advertisements, brochures, logos, and social media.
• Provide feedback to junior graphic designers and coordinate production with vendors and printers.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance.
• REAL ID is required to access federal government buildings.
• Four to seven years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with forms development, remediation, and conversion services.
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, AcroForm, Microsoft Office, layout and publication design, JAWS, and accessible PDF and electronic publication creation.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements and plain-language principles.

Nice to have

• Experience converting forms from Adobe LiveCycle to Acrobat AcroForm.
