What you will do

• Define and execute enterprise procurement strategy focused on value realization, efficiency, innovation, and risk mitigation.
• Lead sourcing strategy, supplier governance, complex negotiations, and strategic supplier relationships across the enterprise.
• Modernize procurement through AI, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, category intelligence, and source-to-pay technologies.
• Establish governance for enterprise spending and lead third-party risk, supplier oversight, resiliency, compliance, and internal controls.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions by identifying synergies, mitigating contractual risk, and maximizing value.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement organization of 52 staff members overseeing $2 billion in annual third-party spend.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, plus at least 13 years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or supplier management experience; alternatively, 17 years of combined higher education and work experience with at least 13 years in the relevant field.
• At least 6 years of proven managerial experience and significant experience leading enterprise procurement organizations with large-scale spend responsibility.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, category management, value realization, governance, and third-party risk management.
• Demonstrated success in procurement transformation, enterprise change leadership, technology, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled modernization.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, boards, regulators, and external partners, supported by strong financial, analytical, and business case development skills.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, complex integrations, and the development of high-performing teams.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced business degree.
• CPSM, CIPS, CPM, or related professional certification.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience leading enterprise procurement modernization and platform transformation initiatives.
