Senior Director of Solutions Architecture (AI)

What you will do

• Build, lead, hire, coach, and develop the Asia Pacific Solutions Architecture organization.
• Partner with regional Sales leadership to pursue and close strategic enterprise opportunities across financial services, telecommunications, industrials, technology, and the public sector.
• Own the regional coverage model across Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia, including team growth and operational metrics.
• Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations, technical deep dives, business cases, architectures, roadmaps, and technical proposals.
• Guide customers through secure, scalable, governed, production-ready AI deployments across cloud, hybrid, VPC, on-premises, sovereign, and air-gapped environments.
• Develop repeatable solution practices and represent regional customer needs in Product and Engineering roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Enterprise Architecture.
• 7+ years leading customer-facing technical teams, with a record of hiring, coaching, and developing senior and leadership talent.
• Experience building or running technical organizations across multiple Asia Pacific markets, with a senior executive network in the region.
• Hands-on experience putting AI systems into production and understanding modern AI architectures, including large language models, agentic systems, retrieval, enterprise integrations, cloud, hybrid, and on-premises deployments.
• Strong commercial acumen, enterprise Sales partnership, executive presence, and experience delivering complex or regulated technology solutions.
• Working proficiency in a regional language in addition to English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI, machine learning, or data science functions inside large regulated enterprises.
• Depth in Asia Pacific financial services, telecommunications, or the public sector.
• Experience with customer-controlled infrastructure, sovereign deployments, and air-gapped environments.
• Background in enterprise AI, cloud, data platform, or applied AI consulting organizations.
• Experience operating in high-growth environments with strong cross-functional collaboration.
