Backend Developer (Middle+; AI)

Location: Onsite in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

What you will do

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Python.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, migrations, and queries.
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain reliable, well-documented codebases.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, secrets management, and other secure coding practices.
• Integrate AI capabilities through MCP servers and tools, deploy and monitor cloud services, and collaborate with frontend and product teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience at Middle level or above.
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and migrations.
• Experience with unit testing using pytest or similar tools and TDD practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and collaborative development.
• Proficiency in English and availability to work onsite in Tashkent.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP and async Python.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, or other message queues.
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and caching strategies.
