What you will do

• Lead forensic accounting and surety engagements involving contractor defaults, bonded projects, and delay claims.
• Perform funds flow analysis, cost-to-complete evaluations, and claims quantification.
• Analyze financial statements, job cost reports, and construction contracts.
• Prepare defensible written reports and presentations for clients and legal counsel.
• Mentor and develop Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers within the practice.
• Support business development by building client relationships and expanding market presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in surety, construction accounting, forensic accounting, or claims consulting.
• Deep understanding of construction operations and the surety claims lifecycle.
• Advanced financial analysis and investigative accounting skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites and client meetings.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFF, CVA, or CFE designation.
• Experience working with surety carriers or forensic consulting firms.
• Expert witness or deposition support experience.
• Familiarity with AIA contracts and construction law concepts.
