Quantitative Developer Intern (Python)

Location: Singapore; on-site internship

Quantitative trading firm developing electronic trading infrastructure, research platforms, and business support systems for independent trading teams.

What you will do

• Iterate with quantitative researchers on research processes to improve the P&L of quantitative trading strategies.
• Develop Python tools used throughout the quantitative research process.
• Design full-stack workflows with quantitative researchers to evaluate and improve trading strategies.
• Explore workflow orchestration, large-scale systems, and production-grade software engineering practices.

Requirements

• Be a final-year bachelor's or master's student in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.
• Be available for a 10-week internship.
• Have a solid foundation in Python and exposure to NumPy, Pandas, or Polars through coursework or personal projects.
• Demonstrate strong interest in quantitative finance and software development, along with curiosity and problem-solving ability.
• Have good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Exposure to C++ and/or scripting languages such as Bash.
