Quantitative Developer Intern (Python)

What you will do

• Iterate quickly with quantitative researchers on research processes to improve the P&L of quantitative trading strategies.
• Develop Python tools used across the quantitative research process.
• Design full-stack workflows with quantitative researchers to evaluate and improve trading strategies.
• Collaborate with distributed teams in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment.

Requirements

• Be a final-year bachelor's or master's student in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.
• Be available for a 10-week internship.
• Have a strong interest in quantitative finance and software development.
• Have a solid foundation in Python, with exposure to NumPy, Pandas, or Polars through coursework or personal projects.
• Demonstrate curiosity, problem-solving ability, good communication skills, and willingness to work as part of a distributed team.
• Have an interest in large-scale systems, workflow orchestration, and production-grade software engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Exposure to C++ and scripting languages such as Bash.
