TL;DR
Senior IT Finance Support Lead – Technical & DevOps Expert (DevOps): Leading technical support, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release cycles, and reliability initiatives within a banking finance support ecosystem with an accent on Java, .NET, cloud, microservices, and Big Data technologies. Focus on diagnosing technical anomalies, improving system resilience and security, coordinating technical teams, and addressing technology obsolescence.
Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model with up to 3 days remote per week. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do
- Act as the technical and DevOps reference for support and C2C teams, guiding technical decisions and best practices.
- Lead development activities and coordinate competence centers, promoting code standards, knowledge sharing, and skill development.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical anomalies to improve system reliability and performance.
- Support the technical strategy by integrating security, resilience, and compliance into delivery processes.
- Collaborate with production engineers on CI/CD pipelines, software factory management, and release cycles.
- Address technical obsolescence, introduce new technologies, and contribute to IT standards and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of development and technical leadership experience in complex IT environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11 with Spring, C#/.NET, SQL Server, Spark, Angular, and React.
- Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker/Kubernetes, and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, hybrid cloud solutions, and Big Data technologies including Spark and Kafka.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate contributions across multiple stakeholders.
- Communicative English and French proficiency, both oral and written, is required.
Nice to have
- Experience in banking or a CIB environment.
- Experience with application urbanization and information system modeling.
- DevOps or cloud architecture certifications.
