Core Technician - Viral Vector (Night Shift)

Location: On-site in Houston, Texas, United States; rotating 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends.

What you will do

• Perform cGMP-compliant manufacturing of viral therapeutic products, including large-scale mammalian cell culture.
• Execute aseptic processing across purification, formulation, and fill/finish activities.
• Prepare buffers and components and operate manual, semi-automated, and automated production equipment.
• Maintain cleanroom operations, including stocking, setup, gowning procedures, and behavior standards.
• Assist with validation, equipment troubleshooting, changeovers, data collection, and cell banking activities.
• Complete accurate documentation for all performed tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cGMP manufacturing environments.
• Ability to follow detailed SOPs under close supervision while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and gowning qualifications.
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and support troubleshooting.
• Strong documentation and Microsoft Office skills, along with effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding gowning and cleanroom tasks; a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences is preferred, while an associate's degree or relevant experience is acceptable.

• Experience with cell culture, viral production, or related bioprocessing techniques.
